NEW COMEDY CLASSES BEGINNING SOON!
Register Here
We are excited to bring a comedy program to back to Playhouse West!  The comedy program will cover Improv (Long and Short Form), Sketch, and much more.  What makes us unique, is that we have all trained in the Meisner method at Playhouse, as well as many Improv classes all over town.  Also, unlike other schools, you will be on stage performing multiple times, much more than one graduation show at the end of each level.

Your teachers are all currently working actors in theater, commercials, TV and film.  We bring that experience to our classes.  We also know that comedy programs should be fun, supportive environments with a spirit of community and not competition.  You will see that we are different from your first class.  And we give you A FREE HUGE MANSION!!… Okay, we don’t… but it’s still a great program.

Have prior improv experience from another improv program?  All students interested in joining the Comedy Program register with one of the beginning level classes.  You will attend two beginning level classes so your level of experience can be assessed, You will then be placed in either the Intermediate Level Class, or a soon to be scheduled, Advanced Level Class.
All class sizes limited to 15 students

PRICES:

$125/month - Current Playhouse Students
$225/month - Non Playhouse Students

$20 - Discount, given monthly, for each Non Playhouse West person you bring to the program!

Payments are made by cash or check, on the first day of class.

I loved how patient that Gabe, Lincoln, and Sean are with students, especially beginners. Being on stage and performing is anxiety-provoking but they teach us how to go into various roles and execute it with ease.   This makes each class not only entertaining and fun, but challenging too.”
~ Abram Antler

For me going into the class was nerve racking, but the teachers made it SO FUN. It genuinely made me laugh. Gabe, Sean, and Lincoln were so articulate and I felt excited to work with each of them. I think the thing they made me most excited about is growing in my confidence in being the most raw version of myself. I already know I’m weird but learning to not be scared to show my weirdness to the world would be awesome. I think the teachers are super valuable and have so much to offer and i feel pumped to learn from them. I loved it so much I signed up the moment                                     I got out of class.”
